Self Drive Mandurah BBQ Boat Hire

Be your own captain when you hire a Mandurah BBQ Boat

Hire a Self Drive Mandurah BBQ Boat for a fantastic outing with family or friends, one where you can experience Mandurah’s natural beauty at your own pace. Revel in 360-degree water views as you sip and sizzle in beautiful sunshine, enjoying a unique dining experience.

You don’t need a skipper’s ticket to captain these cool boats; just bring your valid photo ID and we’ll provide onboarding, safety instructions, and a map for your scenic cruise.

Electric BBQ Boats are the cleaner, quieter option, better for Mandurah’s wildlife and waterways, and so silent wildlife approach you! With a cruisy maximum speed of 5 knots an hour, you’ll be as chilled as the champagne in your esky.

Cruise past Mandurah’s thriving waterfront, glamorous yachts and through the Venetian Canals. Find a nice spot to anchor for lunch, taking in the magnificent view. Ask us about our favourite places to dine in spectacular views.

Bring your own picnic or barbecue lunch (please book a BBQ as an optional extra) or order a grazing platter made fresh for your arrival. We’ll provide cutlery, crockery and cooking implements to make your life easier.

Your BBQ Boat hire includes;

Bring the essentials for a playful time on the river; a hat, sunscreen, drinks, bathers and towel if you fancy a swim. The hirer and skipper need to bring valid photo ID and a credit card for the credit card authorisation for the security bond.

We have a large umbrella shading the boat which we can use when safe, but sometimes the sun comes in at the sides, or we have to take the umbrella down due to high wind. Therefore we recommend wearing sunscreen and hats, and bringing long sleeves.

Of course, BBQ Boats are best with a group. Gather your friends, family or workmates for a fantastic BBQ Boats experience, or team it with our Waterbikes for the ultimate day out. Call us on (08) 9544 6507 or email reservations@mandurahcruises.com.au to organise your group booking.

BBQs are best on beautiful days. Weather can be unpredictable, and we really want you to have a great experience on our BBQ Boats. So if we deem it unsafe to cruise, we will reschedule your booking with no extra charges or we will offer you a full refund – your call. Winter weather is variable, so check the forecast, book a boat, and if the weather changes we’ll reschedule for your cruising pleasure.
