Lobster Catching Tour

Experience the thrill of catching your own Western Rock Lobster (crayfish)!

Mandurah is the seafood capital of Western Australia and Mandurah Cruises’ professional fishing team know all the best spots to find our most popular seafood delicacy – Western Rock Lobster (crayfish).

Join Mandurah’s 2-hour Lobster Catching Tour for the ultimate hands on fishing experience. Aboard our luxury fishing vessel Reel Affair II, we’ll head off the shore of Mandurah and pull up to 12 pre-set lobster pots. You can become part of the action, helping pull the pots (or sit back and watch), reset them and have the opportunity to feel, size and learn more about Western Australia’s lobster conservation efforts.

Take your share of the catch home – maximum 8 per person as per fishing laws. Under our FTOL we can catch up to 80 lobsters daily from our 12 pots.

Be sure to ask our crew for their special tips to best preparing your lobster feed!

Enjoy the stunning scenery of Mandurah’s coastline on the return journey and keep an eye out for our playful resident dolphins who like to surf in our wake.

Lobster guarantee! If at least 1 lobster per person isn’t caught, we’ll give you an $80 voucher to use on any Mandurah Cruise*.

BYO food and drinks welcome.

* Voucher redeemable on any cruise excluding special event cruises and Christmas Lights Cruises.

Please Note: This tour is not suitable for children under the age of 5.
